  • Covertable weight.

I guess this is where i should post this...but is the extra weight a covertable has all resting on the rear wheels?

I ask this because last year i had sandbags in my trunk of the coupe so i could drive on ice. Ice is coming now and i got the same amount of sandbags in the trunk of my covertable. It's about 150-200lbs (max) of sandbags in the back. Am i putting to much weight in the back? It worked fine last year but if the extra like 200-300lbs the top weighs is already weighing it down i could take some out.

I could probably figure this out myself, but i'm out of brain power today.

I think I had 160# of sand in the trunk of my convertible last winter. The back end sat a little lower, but it helped out traction wise quite a bit.
