I have an opportunity to obtain one of these from a 4th Gen with an LT-1 in it. My question is...will it fit easily on my 97 V6?

According to the ThunderRacing site that brace will fit. It is the same brace for either car. NO, it will not fit.

Yup, unfortunately it will not fit.
The ram air model and v6 are the same.
The non ram air is another model
