  • Do I need spacers up front for skinnies?

Do the pre-LS1(have a 96) brakes people need spacers up front for 3.5x15" skinnies? I got 195 tires on them. They fit fine now, but I'm getting new rotors and pads. The new pad might push the caliper out farther. Right now it's really close. Will I need them and what size?

Yours is a 96 so you will probably need a 5/16th spacer or you could grind down the calipers..

I think all you need to do is take off the clip on the outside of the caliper.
