  • Question on Springs

Where can I get v6 springs that dont lower the car but are better than stock ones, if not where is the best place to get stock springs for v6?

You will notice Hotchkis springs in the stance of the car, though you will not drag and scrap on everything. I have them and really like the ride quality handling and stance.

If you want different spring rates but the stock height, your only real choice is to go with a coilover setup like the ground controls. You can pick your spring rate and use the jacker to adjust the ride height to whatever you want.

However, at $600 (kit with springs, no shocks), this is probably beyon what you want.

SLP springs or V8 or 1LEs

What are you trying to accomplish by changing springs?

You may want to keep the stock springs and just spend the money on good shocks. Springs in themselves don't change ride quality all that much, good shock damping is the difference between the floaty oldsmobile ride and the competent bmw ride.
