  • supension ?s. ive done a search

    Hello guys.

First off I've done a search and now I am more confused than when i started. I have all stock on my 97 camaro rs and I am in need of rear shocks(making noises when i hit bumps). I figured that if was going to put new on might as well do it right. I want to corner better without much roll. I am getting some rims as soon as it starts warming up, leaning towards 18". What my question is where do I start being that I won't be able to do it all at once and by me needing shocks. I also don't want to lower my car any being that I have ground effects and have a hard enough time getting in and out of my drive way I was going to buy the bilstien shock/strut kit from stranoparts.com and put them on until i done a search. Now I don't know what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

The bilstien will do you well with a stock height. If you don't want your body to roll get a bigger front swaybar.

If you want cheap go 32mm, if you want the best get a 35 front sway. SFC will also help with body roll some and of course can help in other areas as well.

Just make sure its the shock making the noise, before you start throwing parts at it.

Its really up to you. 2 point is deffentially all you need unless your like a super hardcore racer. I have boxed for my formula, but tubular will work just as well.

The most important part is the install, because it must be done correctly. And yes you want weld-in.
