i had my rotors turned and my pads replaced in the front of my 95 camaro in the spring. well now they squeek. ive put a few thousand miles on them and if i glazed the pads when they where new i think it would have shown by now. i have plenty of pad left and i dont brake hard usually. my rotors look fine, but when i brake slow like i always do and ease into it they squeek untill i press them down 3/4 the way. when i press them 3/4 of the way they grip alot harder than they where befor so its like i can easy into my brakes then they go kinda hard at a certain point. anyone know whats wrong? my rear drums arnt making this noise and i think it is coming from the driver side.

Make sure you put pads that actually fit on your car when you replace the pads. I had the dealership replace my pads and they didn't put the stock ones back on they "upgraded" without telling me. Brakes squeeeeeeeked worse then when I brought them in. Found out the pads BARELY didn't cover everything said they didn't even notice it untill they took it all off and look with a magnifying glass.00\' firebird v6 5spd<br />201rwhp ---- 230 rwtq<br />\"Everyday I grow stronger...and further from you.\"<br />WARNING: Do not take any of my comments seriously unless they are technical in nature and then only at your own risk
