  • PLEASE Help Me!

Ok, here's the deal. I have a 1997 30th Anniv. Camaro. It's got rear drum brakes, and I want to convert to disc. My friend has a 1995 Trans-Am and just bought a new rear end with 3.42 gears and has his old disc brake "stuff" (Rotors, brake lines, callipers and pads.) What exactly do I need to make the conversion if I bought his old "stuff"? Is it even possible? Also, a question on Ram-Air hoods...SS Style. Does anyone know if the aftermarket ones come set up like the stock (with that crapy "air routing") or are they just set up with the air box right behind the air intake grill? (like the American Sports Car Desin one seems to be set up?) If they do both, I need to know which ones are set up for straight induction. I don't like that routing crap. Thanx in advance for your help.

Yes you can convert from drums to brakes if he gave you everything off his axle.
