  • bilsteins, stock front springs?

I tried searching for this but couldn't find an answer. I know our front suspension is a strut. Can you just get the bilstein shocks for the front and have them put in?

The fbody only used McPherson struts (which combine the shock with a suspension arm) Until 92. 93 up is a-arms and shocks.

I would recommend it, it will be a huge improvement over burned out stock ones.

I am not recommending it because he is putting aftermarket shocks on with the stock springs.

He is correct that they will be a large improvement over stock, but do both at the same time.

What's wrong with the stock springs? Sorry for the questions, I know nothing about suspension.

I'm not sure what is wrong with the stock springs. I don't even know of any springs you can buy that are aftermarket that won't lower your car, which I for one don't want.

I don't think there's anything wrong with only upgrading your shocks. You will love it once u get those bilsteins on there.
