hey just outta curiousity for those still running the factory 16" aluminum wheels what kind of weights do yall have on em for balancing? stick on that go on the inside or the kind that clamp to the edge on the outside?

The stick on weights are a pretty new thing, there very nice.1999 Pontiac Trans Am M6 Far from stock.....

Yeah clamp on weights on the outside of nice chrome rims look like crap, not to mention discoloring the wheel where the weight was. Some aftermarket rims can only use stick on weights since there isn't even a lip to use a clamp on style weight.2006 Tiburon

As far as balancing goes. They both balance out the same. One isnt more balanced then the other method. Its just the fact of appearance. My ZR1's have rim flanges on both sides, but I chose to do the stick-on weights/hammer on weight method.I would reccomend using the sticky weights if possible, cause the hammer on kind can scratch of your clear coat, and also leave corrosion on the rim.
