  • Pro kit and shocks?

Here is my situiation. I am looking to purchase an Eibach Pro-Kit for my car in about one month. My car is a daily driver and I do not drag race or auto-x. It is a 1999 Y87 Camaro and has 37,XXX miles. The reason for getting the springs is to make it lower and to reduce some body roll.

I have been searching about spring/shock combinations for a couple weeks and have seen mixed results. For my use it appears that some Decarbon shocks would work.

I would like to upgrade shocks but I do not have enough money for springs and upgraded shocks(anything over $100). Will my current shocks work with the pro-kit since it is a Y87 car and appears to already have Decarbon shocks?

I made a couple of pictures if that helps any. http://www.thenebula.com/carpics/pics2/shock.jpg

If anyone has any pictures 98-02 Camaros with the pro-kit could you please post them?

    Thanks

you should really upgrade. You'll regret it if you dont. At a minimum at least spend the 50 bucks fro some new SLP take off shocks. Otherwise keep saving and wait unit you can afford decent shocks. Otherwise you wont be happy and youll have to pay installation price twice!!
