  • Swaybars: 1LE vs. BMR

I was just looking at the different swaybars available, and I noticed that both the 1LE and the BMR swaybars are 32/21mm. Is there any benefit to buying the BMR ones that are $70 more? They say that they are solid and are 40% stiffer than the 1LE's, but I wanna make sure that it's worth it if I get them.

I don't think solid and hollow have anything to do with each other unless they are made of the same material using the same process. I guarantee you that both are different. 1LEs are what you should get. I wouldn't go any bigger on the street with street tires. They are plenty. Trust me, I run them.

I run 1LEs as well. They are the most you should ever need for the street. The day I put them on my car handled like a completely different car. In my opinion, the extra $70 for BMR is not worth it at all.

yes, bmr's solid swaybars are stiffer than the hollow 1LE's, yes, because of this they weight a lot more, maybe 10 lb's, and no, you should not go w/ bmr's, go w/ 1LE's instead.
