  • squeaking sound from left rear

I just did the drum to disc conversion, and now my rear left is squeaking when I make a 90 degree turn. It does this either going slow and at higher speeds. It doesn't matter if I use the brake on the turn or not, it still makes like a metal on metal squeak. When I turn out of it, it goes away. No problems driving forward or turning right, just left. I rechecked the calipiers and couldn't find anything. What do you think?

Also the rotors are new and the brake pads are new ceramic ones.

My guess would be one of these three:

    -Bent axle

-Check the slack where the "C" Clip is located behind the diff cover. If too much slack where the center pin is, replace the c-clip and/or the center pin.

-Worn out axle bearing (right where the axle goes into the rearend housing, from the rotor).

I'm not saying it's definately one of these, but I'd have check them anyways.

I'm going to check the "C" clip. Thats the only thing I can think of since the axle and bearings were fine before I installed the disc brakes. Thanks
