Ok so I finally broke down and got new tires as mine were pretty much close to drag slicks. I didn't want expensive tires because i'm getting Eagle 077 alloys and some good tires in the next 6 months. Sooo...after reviewing the selection at sam's club, which actually carries some pretty good tires and will order almost anything you want, I got some Dunlop GT Qualifiers 225/60 R16 for 339 mounted and balanced. I have to say this is a really good tire for the money. A little bit narrow for my taste, but since im upgrading soon it's not a huge deal. Great wet weather traction (since all it does in Mississippi is rain) and awesome dry traction. I can't judge them fairly though because all 4 of my shocks need replacing...which is coming in the next two weeks. To anyone that needs a low cost performance tire or a set of "interim" tires I would highly reccomend these. I'll post treadwear data in the next few months, but they're covered until 50k miles.
