in my camaro everytime i turn the steering wheel i hear like a kind of grinding sound slash poping sound. please correct me if i am wrong but is it the CV boots? help... thanks

Sorry, CV boots are for side-side engine layouts (like a FWD honda), not front-back engine layouts (like a RWD Camaro). It's likely a steering component or ball joint that has / is going bad ...
Some of it you can easily do yourself (replacing tie rods), some is more of a challenge (replacing ball joints), and some is even more of a challenge (replacing power steering pump or rack). Good luck.

yeah i had the same problem...its ur ball joints in the front end. Wut u need is a lube job and it will go away. Its easy u just get a grease gun with chassis grease, and find the zerk fittings(metal nipple like things) on the ball joints...about ten squirts will do it. Just dont over fill the ball joint boots because they do break open ... hope that helps...i actually just did this myself after asking about it on the board.
