Whine Noise

I started to notice it yesterday...seems to b coming from my power steering pump...now its been really cold around here like in the teens...would that cause it or is my pump on its way out?

Check for signs of power steering fluid leaking, I just had a hose to the power steering pump crack yesterday. Fluid ran low and the pump was whining loud as hell, so check the fluid level and check for leaks if it's low and top it off.

I've also heard a whining sound when my belt tensioner pulley started to crack and break, and also I think it was the a/c pulley that was starting to wear and that made an annoying whining sound also.

well after i cleaned the car i went and looked...had my brother spin my wheel and found a pin hole leak in 1 of the hoses...so i filled it back up and now i gotta get to autozone and get a new hose...blahh...it sounded like i had a s/c for about a day lol
