There was a guy named Dale Griffith at the SLP day Saturday, selling brackets to mount C5 brakes on 4th gen F-bodys.
Anybody have any experience with this or with him?
I was thinking of going with BAER's, but this looks like it might be an alternative.
Ryan <-- kicking myself for not buying the 13" wilwoods for $600 when i had the chance :(

I converted my stock front brakes to the C5 ones last July...I had talked to Bob and he directed me to buy them through Nashville Speed (unfortunately they're no longer open). So I'd email him at lateapex@charter.net to see if theres any places that still make the kits.
As for the brakes themselves...wow...thats all I gotta say, the pedal is much firmer, braking is so much better, and they look great. The only thing is if u get the wrong type of pads the dust can drive you crazy. It's the best mod on the car that I've done so far.

for the cost of the BAER, go with wilwoods 6 piston on the front, and a set of 4 for the back.
a friend has this setup in his 00 Ws6 Formula, and WOW is all i can say
Ryan.

My plain old GM brakes work for me for everyday use. I think if I was going to drive like Mike Schumacher of F1 then I might want 6 pistons. LOL
my friends car, 6 up front, 4 in back, on a built 12 bolt...
Next mod is a 427, then possibly TT's, he's setting up the rest of the chassis for the power he's expecting. You want good braking when your trapping 130+ (already traps close to 120)
Ryan.

Hey Mister_Johnny !
Check out LG Motorsports. Lou sells the brackets and you can also get Z06 calipers, rotors, and pads and such from him. Real nice price too. Never heard a complaint about them. Only thing is I believe you need to run 17's (or 16" CCW skinnies) in the front b/c of the rotor increase.
