I will be upgrading my rearend with my tax refund. I have a 96 firebird with open diff and drum brakes. I believe I am getting the 98-02 rear end with 3.42s, lsd, and the banksia brakes through tacreationsusa.com. I am also thinking of going ahead and adding the front 98+ braking system. I can get the spindles, calipers, and caliper brackets through the same place. I was needing to know where is a good place to get slotted, drilled rotors that have the chamfered edges on the cross drills. And also are there any other components I may want to have to make sure I do it right. Thanks

You'll need the hoses for the front conversion and there is some slight modification needed to both the hose and the bracket as well.
The rears are a drop-in. Make sure you get e-brake cables and brake lines with it. The 19mm bar from a V8 rear also makes a nice upgrade.1994 Firebird 3.4<br />15.65 @ 86.8<br /><a href=\"http://www.funkz.net/firebird.htm\" target=\"_blank\">funkz.net/firebird</a><br /><a href=\"http://mywebpages.comcast.net/funkz/timeslips.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Timeslips</a>

The bracket where the hose connects to the hard line. The location changed from 93-97 to 98+ and also the way it is keyed. So you have to drill out the hole so that the 98+ hose end will fit through. You have to use the 98+ hoses because they are longer and you need the extra reach. They still aren't quite long enough as-is and you have to put a 45° bend in the end that bolts to the caliper. I think you'll still have the same problems with aftermarket hoses, at least with the bracket, they might be different at the caliper end.
