sorry if this thread is posted twice a day, but its the sort of thing where i was hoping to get advice to answer MY exact questions, not what someone else had.

i have a mostly stock 2002 maro, mods in sig. i have some cash, and i found a set of drag radials (bfg). would they really benefit me? i know im not making enough power for them to make a huge difference, how much power would i need to make for them to really matter?
after getting the drag radials, would it be better for me to do suspension, or more engine mods?

If its a good price I'd get them. When you start getting mods and you get that power to the ground you'll wish you had some drag radials. They will really reduce your 60 foots.

Definitely not overkill to use drag radials. I've been running on DRs since high 14s. I've always thought 255 section is a little much for the 3.8, though. Look for third gen 15x7 wheels and put 235/60/15s on them. It should cost about the same. I've been through at least 4 sets of BFGs and they're great, now I've moved on to MTs.

the only reason i was going to get these was because i know the guy selling em, and wont have to bother with shipping and getting the wheels mounted and stuff. if i dont get these ones, i will probably just do more go-fast mods.

Yeah, I'd pass. You can get those tires brand new for about 270 and a set of 16s for dirt cheep.
