Looking at the BMR torque arms here. I can get the standard bolt-in adjustable torque arm for $320, but for $330, I can get the "Trak Pak" which relocates the torque arm front mount off of the transmission tail. Details on both of them are HERE.

Track Pak would be better for traction. I've seen those good for 10 sec cars. I don't think we need to worry about breaking them, but the weight distribution is what you are looking for. With the TP, you are moving it to a more secure location and providing more rigid launch.
I'm just waiting on mine right now :D
OH.... one draw back.... can't get a DS safety loop on with that. You have to have something custom done.

Wouldn't the crossbrace that the arm mounts to pretty much serve as a safety loop? I mean of course it's not a loop, but would it not prevent the driveshaft from falling?-Travis
99 Trans Am, Pewter, A4 Forged, stalled, and cammed
85 Buick Regal WH1 T-Type It\'d be cool if it ran...
94 Camaro 3.4, Teal, M5 The daily beater

It's both the falling and catapulting the car ... and the coming up and ripping straight through the center of the car (or your butt).
Gotta protect against both.
