rear suspension

i know this is a definate NO to my question but is there any way to convert the rear suspension to the independent from say a new Vette. just curious how much modding would be needed. [img]graemlins/dunce.gif[/img]

my guess would be that EVERY component in the back would need to be custom fab'ed to connect... ie, custom D/S, LCA's, torque arm, every bracket used to make connections....

yeah that was what i thought but i guessed that someone on this board would have tried to do it by now and maybe have some prices (ie its cheaper to buy a vette, or something like that) oh well i guess the only way ill find out is to eventually try it. :(

if you can weld and have the setup to work on it, it'll cost you the price of a rear end out of a wrecked vette, some time and a lot of beer.... to pay someone else to do it for you...... WOW!!

[img]graemlins/rofl.gif[/img] I know the suspension you're talking about. It's the one that the guy in Bristol PA is selling for over $600. The Dana setup...right? That thing is awesome!! I thought about it myself, but you may need to modify the wheelwells of the f-body to make it fit. I would almost bet that the width is different, and that makes for some geometric fabricating :eek: Too much for me to handle, but go for it if you have the means. It would be a very unique, and bada$$ setup if it's done properly.
