I have a 94 camaro, and currently have 18"'s with 245 and 275 (rear). I am in need of new suspension, and here's what i would like prefer.
1. Springs that are as stiff as v8 or SS so that i can utilize my 32 mm sway bar... and prolly 19 mm rear.
2. New shocks, either Bilsteins or KYB AGX..price is somewhat of an issue.
3. I currently have tubular lower trailing/ control arms, and 1LE panhard bar and LT1 steering rack.
HERES THE QUESTION: I want to lower the car 1" but not drastically b/c i have WW W-Type GrndfX, just want to improve the handling,(no autocrossing) and looks and lower the fender gap. Would V8 1.5 inch drop springs work for me, i know the rear will drop the advertised. but as for the front i will prolly go an inch or not even? I don't want the fron lower really cause of air dam.
As for cost, should i just get low mileage 1LE setup, decarbons springs and just cut the SS oem springs? Should i get new shocks and cut my oem springs? Will stiffer springs really benefit me much? Also, will v6 drop springs be as stiff as v8, for instance eibach 93-97 v6 springs
