Does any one Know how many foot pounds of torque the stock torque arm can handle. I'm going to be putting 3.73 gears in the rear end and I want to know if I will need to replace the stock torque arm or not.

Well, the LS1 guys are throwing nearly 350 at it stock, and many are running them well into the 11's. A V6 with a gear swap really shouldn't have to worry.

Thanks Bird_Of_Prey thats what I thought but I just wanted to comfirm it. I think I still should replace the torque arm bushing with a poly bushing. Any opinions?

Go ahead and order the prothane tranny mount and torque arm bushing. I did cost me $40 and installed them myself, one of the best and cheapest things I ever did. Of course both of mine were ripped in half when I took off the old ones =)
