  • Upgrading Suspension

I have a 98 W68 Firebird and my suspension is so bouncy and sloppy compaired to my moms 2002 firebird. Hers is nice and stiff and rides awesome.

Anyone have any ideas on what I need to look at as far as shocks and springs go for a better stiffer, smoother ride.

    Thanks,
    Aaron

You'll get a all kinds of suggestions for major suspension mods here; some good, some bad. There are so many tradeoffs involved.

But I'll bet that simply a premium set of shocks (Bilstein or Koni) would do what you say you want.

If hers is a coupe and you have t-tops or a convert, sfcs might be a good idea, also.
