  • BEST Torque Arm?

I know there are many brands out there, but what torque arm does everyone recommend for 1/4 mile?

I've been looking at Jegster, I know I probably want an adjustible one.

Who has track experience with them and what do you suggest?

I have Boxed LCAs right now so something that would go well in conjunction w/ them to plant my tires hard.

I think James "12Secondv6" is using the hotchis Torque arm....

I will be using the BMR Adjustable Torque Arm on the 96 I am getting....

They both will work well with your LCA's

        Correction about James torque arm....

Its a random tech adjustable and he has seen 1.584 spinning with 3:23's

I'm running a Spohn Adjustable torque arm and I love it!!! I also like the fact that it bolts to the tunnel brace instead of the tranny.

most people on this site will recommend spohn...

i personally can't tell too much difference between the TA manufacturers; i think since they are almost all adjustable now, the only differences, however slight, would be in craftsmanship.

BMR and spohn are leading the way in that category.

actually teh best ones are the real short ones that bolt to a crossmember, they shorten the instant center and it will hit the tires a lot harder off the line....i'd love to have one right now but they cost a little much....

thats the way my spohn one is, it bolts to the tunnel brace and is about half the size of the stock one.

I've been reading and shopping and think I will be going with the BMR Track Pack when I purchase a torque arm.

i have the trak pak, i havent installed it yet, still waiting to get my lca's off and i have to weld my subframe connectors. but if u want u can get Boxed Subframe connectors, Lca's Tubular Or boxed ur choice, and the trak pak, in a package. its a F-Body Drag Race Package. saves you some money, rather then buying seperate. and u get ur choice of bushings also. thats wha ti went ahead and did but then agian i need them lol.
