i hear this thump coming from either the center or under the passenger side underneath the car i looked down there to see if anything was loose but i couldnt find anything...

Thats what it is on my car anyway. You can get a muffler shop guy to heat it up and bend the cross brace a bit...making it where you have to hit the bump HARDER to get the thump to happen. I never really noticed mine till I got 3" exhaust put on.
BTW, the guy should bend it for free unless hes cheap.
