  • BMR vs Spohn

howdy.. i know some of you have BRM LCA's and relocation brackets... , not sure if anyone here has Spohn, except perhaps some of the 3rdgens.

I guess i'm looking for advice on which one to go with? BMR seem to be a bit cheaper... Oh and in the case of the Spohn ones, are the ones they advertise for 97 v8's compatible on my 97 v6?

    Thanks!

I have the Spohn and they are GREAT. Dropped .3 on my ET just because I got rid of wheel hop. All 4th gen suspension is universal so they will fit. I got the non adjustable ones that cost about $110 and I am very satisfied with them.

So yours are tubular then, not boxed?

ive got boxed Lakewood ones. There is a complete writeup on my website about them.

ive heard some bad things about the durability of Spohn products, so i got the Lakewood boxed ones. They are great.

check out the writeup i did...

i have bmr tubular ones, and i love them, no wheel hop at all. i think that the tubular control arms are better for drag racing where the boxed ones are prefered for autocrossing because of torsional strength i think.

Cool, thanks for the tip... i'm more interested in drag racing, so tubular are probably the way to go it sounds.
