  • more noise from BMR adj phr???

anybody notice this with the BMR phr bar? i installed it over the weekend and i swear theres more noise comin from the rear end, when goin over bumps. its like a poppin sound maybe, i thought it was the brake line hittin the bar, but i put some ties on them yesterday and still making weird sounds from back. what could it be? it squeaks sometimes to.

    thanks
    Danny

if they have a dust guard on them take that off and see if that helps if not. Check to make sure any heat shields in the back aren't hitting anything. Also have people sit on your car and watch your suspension go down and see if it contacts anywhere.

also if I remember correctly that thing comes with poly bushings.. the hardness of these bushings will transfer more road noise to the cabin, that is proably alot of what you are hearing. The noise was always there but the rubber bushing absorbed it.

also forgot to add that if you didn't tighen the bolts with the car on the ground but with the axle hanging then that will cause noise also becauase the bushings are in a bind when the car is level... might want to break the bolts loose and retorque them with the car on the ground.
