I'm looking at getting a new Camaro, and I don't know if it has 225s or 235s on it. I have 255s on my current Camaro, which I am going to transfer over to the new one (if I can get it). If the new Camaro has 225s on it, the 255s will be the wrong height. Does anybody know if dealerships can reprogram the PCM for different side tires, or do only aftermarket places do it? Thanks.

True, but the second number is a percentage of the first, so the width does matter [img]smile.gif[/img]
I talked to my dealer about reprogramming and they told me they'd be happy to do it for gears or tires or whatever, they just dont' know what to reprogram it to.
They told me to get a VIN with the programming i want(ie: 3.42 gears from a y87 car) and they'll do it happily.
If there is a powerprogrammer for the year you're buying that's always an option, or if you're cheap like me, drive beside someone in a car you trust the guage at various speeds and remember how they equate to yours [img]smile.gif[/img]

The car I'm looking at has 235s on it, which is what my current Camaro has.
