    Ok.. here are the options.

    A) get slp takeoff 16x8s and some 255/50 d/r
    B) get weld draglite 15x10s and some 275/50 d/r
    C) get draglite 15x8s and some 275/50 d/r
    D) get Eagle 15x10s that look similar to the draglites (to match the fronts in the future) with 275/50s
    E) get Eagle 15x8s with 275/50s

Here are the questions to ask: Will the 275s make me bog? Do the draglites make that much difference in the rear? I would really rather have a 15x10 for a nice look, but if I will bog on them I can handle 8" wide. How about 255 (or 265)/60 on a 15x10? Will that even fit?
I'm gearing toward option D .. but not sure if they'll bog me down or not. I got the money and I'm ready to buy now... so any input would be great as soon as possible.

Why's that Dom? Does the lighter weight rim make that much difference in the rear?

Draglites compared to stock rims will make a noticable difference. 15x8 is the rim used for 275s.

So a 275/50(or 60)/15 Nitto D/R on a 15x8 Draglite will NOT bog me down, correct?

Wide tire for traction, tall sidewall for initial shock dampening, i.e. good takeoff, and on a light rim. I don't see a single problem with it. As I said, that's what I'll be running. That's what Keith is running.
