I got an alignment this weekend and made her run on rails again. But today I noticed the front end was squeaking very loud today. It happens during braking, bumps, basicly under load. I called the guy who did my alignment and inquired to what it would be. He said he was positive it is the front control arm bushings and that all I needed to do was spray some lube on em. I asked if it could be my shocks and he said no. The bushings are stock I'm certain. What do you guys think? If it is the bushings is there away to upgrade them and eliminate the sound and improve performance?

Try lubing your sway bar bushings. Do not lube the endlinks. Also, try lubing up you A arm bushings. If you still have a squeak, it could be the springs. I know when I installed the springs on my 69 camaro, I had to lube up the spring perches top and bottom to eliminate squeaks. The spring perches start to squeak over time. Try lubing up the top and bottom spring perches.69 Camaro 350 4spd, Full Hotchkis susp, Baer brakes, moser 12 bolt, Flowmaster

96 RS Hotchkis STB, subframe connectors, Hotchkis LCA and adj Panhard rod, SS camaro sway bars, Bilstein shocks, powerslot rotors, Borla exhaust, rksport headers, k@nFIPK
