I was changing my brake pads tonight, and I noticed my shocks were orange(underneath about 4 layers of brake dust), which got me thinking, why would factory shocks be orange. So I did some research (thanks to this wonderful site it made it so much easier) I have 1LE shocks On the side of the shock it said Delco DeCarbon. It's kinda cool to know I have upgraded suspension, too bad I it needs to be replaced :( . I was planning to get the Z28 take off from SLP, but I guess that would be a downgrade. I wonder what other parts of the suspension have been upgraded...

Ha ha. Funny thread, sorry dude. DeCarbons / Delphis are the same thing, and stock. 1LE's have double adjustable ($700+ a set or so) Konis. Trust me, they're no DeCarbons.
More like DeBeers or DeGolds.
edit: OWNED.

Just a little trivia...
deCarbon = the inventor of the gas shock, I believe it was first used in early 1900s? GM named them after him.2002 5-spd NBM Camaro
