I've been looking into this for a while now. Basically i want to know if i can take off the stock "sfc's" that come on verts so i can use the standard boxed sfc's from bmr. I just dont see the stockers adding anything if i get aftermarket sfc's anyway and i would really rather have the boxed than the tubular vert sfc's that are offered.

I believe the "stock sfcs" you're talking about is just some additional bracing designed into the one piece floor pan. There's nothing to take off.
In my opinion, exactly what sfcs you get isn't a really big deal, as everyone seems to like their sfcs. Proper installation is a big deal.

no i was talking about the ones for non verts when i said standard sfc's. the verts come stock with extra bracing but its crap really. i think im just gonna spend the extra money and buy the ones for the vert so i dont have to mess with anything.2001 Arctic White Firebird With Black Drop Top

3:42 Gears
Zexel LSD
BMR upper A-Arms
Trans Am exhaust with 3\" I-pipe and cutout
Modified intake
Mecham Hood
Trans Go shift kit
Making rear control arms and panhard

My bad. I meant "stock" instead of "standard. The points the same. I don't think there's anything you can remove.
I've edited it so it now makes sense.2000 Firebird convert, chameleon/tan, M5, Y87, TCS, BMR tower brace and panhard, KBDD sfcs, 245/50-16 GSCs
