  • Just got my new rear shocks, springs, sway bar on....having some probs

Ok I just put on my SLP take off springs and shocks on. Allso I put on a Z28 swaybar. I am hearing, almost like, cracking sounds comming from the rear left side of my car. Any clue what it could be? A loose shock?

Are you sure you seated the spring correctly? I would doublecheck and take the shock and spring off that side of the car and reinstall it just to make sure you didnt make any mistakes in aligning the spring purches.

I placed the shocks on after I installed the springs. My spring could have fallen out of the seat. Thanks man, I'll look into next time I have class.

New swaybar but the front isn't creaking? Well thats good.

If its just the rear, and ONLY did it after you installed the springs, check the spring isolators. My rear creak came from non-greased D-bushings around my rear sway, go figure?
