  • What do i need?

My shocks or springs( im not sure) are worn out... most likely they are stock , wouldnt doubt it...
    i have a 94 camaro with like 160k...
My sytem in the trunk weighs at least 350 pounds... also i noticed that the back right side is lower than the back left side....

anyways Im wanting to get new springs and shocks
i DO NOT want to lower the car ( puting ground effects on as soon as i get money to paint them )

    couple questions
will the stock v8 springs ON THE BACK fit on the v6( i know the front wont)
    How much are stock springs?
I need somthing pretty stiff... what do you guys suggest... again NOTHING TO LOWER!

I put z28 springs on the back of my 96 3.8, and they work just fine. Honestly, I don't see any difference in the way the car sits or handles. I don't think there is a difference between rear v8 and v6 springs, but they are compatible.

You can get a used set for some great prices, just place an ad in the "Wanted" section here.

1LE springs are stiffer....and v8 springs do fit in the front...it will just be higher than normal. Lower in the back isn't all bad...I have gfx and they don't even come close to scraping on the back...the front is a different story.

If you put springs that stiff on the back of a 94 V6 and leave the very soft (check the tech database) stock front springs on, the back will be way too stiff and the handling unbalanced. The heavy equipment in the trunk will make it worse. Major oversteer.

If you do want the big back springs you need the matching fronts.
