I took off in the car this morning only to notice how squeaky the ride was. At first I thought it was just because it was slightly cool outside (my suspension usally squeaks some in the cold). Whenever I'd drive over any uneven pavement or go over a speed bump, the front suspension would squeak, rather annoyingly if I might add. At first I thought it might be related to the strut-tower brace, so I took it off, tightened everything back up, & went for a drive, only to find that wasn't the problem. I have 1LE front & rear sway bars, 1LE isolation bushings, & 1LE endlinks & bushings, as well. The suspension has never been this noisy before. I didn't grease the bushings when they were installed, either (I was told not to for the 1LE's). Also, the sway bars have been installed on the car for probably 3 months or so. I have yet to have a chance to get up under the car, but wanted some input as to what the problem might be before I started tearing things apart ;) Thanks.

I'm pretty much positive it's your frame mount sway bar bushings. Why wouldn't you grease them? If you CAN'T use grease for some reason, there's always dry graphite spray.\'94 Camaro 3.4
\"No, Starvin Marvin. That\'s my pot pie.\"

I'm planning on pulling the bushings back off & greasing them once I get back under the car. In the meantime, the squeaking has gone away somewhat, but I'm going to grease them anyways so this doesn't happen again.2001 Onyx Black Camaro M5-Totalled
2005 Ford F150 XLT 5.4L

\"To make peace, prepare for war.\"
