• 3.8 AND 3.4 PA Racing Tubular K Member GP !!!!!

*** This is for informational purposes ONLY, this is not intend to be an advertisment. I DO NOT WORK WITH/FOR FTPP ***

FTPP is currently holding a group purchase on 3.8 AND 3.4 Tubular K Members. As most of you know aftermarket K Members have been avaible for 3.8's for sometime now, but there has not any option for 3.4's. PA Racing has begun making aftermarket K Members for 3.4's as well as 3.8s.

These K Members can be made from Mild Steel or Chromoly. They will work with stock or aftermarket A Arms. Powdercoating is FREE! You will lose up to 85lbs of Front End weight with these K Member's.

This is the first and only aftermarket k member for the 3.4L.

More information can be found at http://www.ftpp.net/

No, you lose 85 pounds if you buy the k member and their upper and lower a-arm set. At teh bottom of the list they say "lose over 75 pounds" so I will just assume that is what they are really claiming.

How much does the tubular K member weigh? How heavy is the stock k member? 75 pound difference means the stock piece must weigh ~100 pounds.

looking at weight difference between stock and tubular a arms (you can find this on Spohn's website) you lose about 6-7 pounds with just the arms so ya you lose about 75lbs with just the k member. I'll weigh mine when I take it off.

Wow a whole 9% off. Its nice PA now makes v6 k-members, though. If free shipping was in that it would be pimp.

Cool. I found an old post where someone said they could barely lift their stock K member with both hands, so I guess that means it is somewhat heavy, or someone is really weak

Um, I've had a PA racing mild steel drag k member in my v6 for several years now.

The weight reduction amounts are NO where near those amounts of 80 lbs... I think the k member (mild steel drag k member vs stock) was a reduction of around 30 lbs.

I added lower mild steel a arms... and lost 6-7 lbs per side...

I still run stock upper a arms

All my exact weight amounts are listed in the drag racing section.... sorry... not meant to attack them..... jsut being informative...

yeah the stock kmember is pretty heavy, compared to the bmr kemember i have its about 3 times as much so its around 75+ lbs. with the bmr around 23-28. plus the stock is large and ugly. and useless all its made like that for is fro crash stuff. it will absorb more of the impact so u dont. but the tubular kmembers are so much better, plus now u can easily do a Tune up without having a problem. u will be able to reach up under easier.

You can remove the oil pan too without dropping the k-member now. Makes life a lot easier!
