i got 17" rims with 275 40 17 tires front and back. how the heck do you figure out the tire height. i am trying to correct my speedo and have no idea how to figure out my tire height.

275 millimeters times .40 times 2
divide that by 25.4 millimeters per inch
add 17 inches
equals 25.7 inches

your tire height with 275-40-17 is 25.6614 inches. stock tires(235-55-16) are 26.1771 inches. here's a few other combinations:
245-50-16=25.6456
245-45-17=25.6811
255-45-17=26.0354
285-40-17=25.9763
