Will my friend's old springs off his 86 IROC Z28 work on my 98 Firebird?

that's a tough one, I would say more than likey not on the front end because we have different part numbers on our shocks. The rear is a different story though because from what I understand the rear suspensions on our cars haven't changed much from 3rd to 4th gen except for the width of the axle. Proably not a good idea to try anyway unless these are fairly new aftermarket sprigns or something.

Rear shocks are the same, rear springs might be interchangable. Front anything is a no go. Thirdgens had the goofy strut by itself & springs inboard on the control arms.
