• Relocation brackets, non-lowered cars?

I had originally heard it was not necessary, since then i've heard its' a great idea and i've heard it creates problems under hard breaking.

WHat do you guys think?

Taken from the Spohn website...
NON-LOWERED vehicles will also see a dramatic increase in traction by
lowering the rearward angle of the LCA with our relocation brackets. The
lower mount holes are placed in the arc pattern of the OEM length LCA.
Therefore allowing a non-lowered F-Body to drop the rear LCA angle and
NOT
require a longer than OEM LCA. All geometry is correctly maintained. The
anti-squat performance is providing most users with a full .10 or better
60' reduction!

I went ahead and got BMR's relocation brackets at the same time I did their LCA's...I like them, and have noticed a nice difference in my launch and traction in like conditions. During my searching for this same question, I found that quite a few people on this board have this setup on their non-lowered cars.

Yes, they will help your launch. They will help maximize the traction you get outa your suspension. This means that in the future, lack of traction will more than likely come from the tires not having enough contact patch.

thanks guys...

Have either of you noticed that under hard braking you hop a bit?

I did for a little bit...but quickly realized that it was my warped rotors I have had no braking issues with my car with these brackets on.
