What springs did you get? Im pretty sure they will fit as long as they are the same year of car. Like 98-02 and yours is a 98-02, I think the 97 and lower have different springs then the newer cars. I know when I was searching for springs I fount a set of coil overs that were for a 98 LS1 car but they will still fit my car. I am pretty sure most of the Eibach springs will fit too. It may just have a different drop height then on a V8 car due to the weight difference.

Spring installs are usually the same especially on all 4th gens.

The only difference you will see is in the ride height. The engines all weigh differently affecting the springs compression.

v8 lowering springs probably wont lower your ride height much. when/if you put them on, get some pictures up because this is only what I've heard over the past couple years on web forums and I want to see for myself!

Well i dont know if i wanna put $200 bucks into this install and have my car only drop 1/4 or half inch.

if that happened, then id have to pay for new ones, plus another 200 install..

I'm gonna wait a few days and ask around..

              SEND THEM BACK

Think about it--V8 cars weigh more, right? So if you install them on a lighter car, they won't go down as far as they will for a V8. Get the springs that are for a V6, and then all will be good.

The reason V6 springs are used on V8 cars a lot is because the V6 ones aren't used to that much weight on them and it produces more weight on the wheels. More weight on the wheels=more traction on launches. I sold my rear V6 springs to a V8 guy, but no one wants the front ones, cause its not the change of ride hieght V8ers are looking for its the drag ability.

              Hope this helps!

              Jeremy
