Well my car has been acting funny lately. When i start her up in the morning and come to the first two stopsigns by my house i press the brakes but as im pressing they seem to give and the Low Trac light comes on. It seems to do it alot. Its like i brake low trac light comes on seems like have to press the brake harder and then it stops. If i press the brake firmer after the lOw trac light is on it goes into ABS INOP and it is fine and the ABS INOP stays on and my car doesn't do low trac anymore. Any thoughts as to why this could be?

Yep, brake fluid is just fine. I'm thinking that maybe the pads are getting low or something. I'm gonna go to a brake place soon. NOT "Just brakes" Dont go there Alright anyone else with some insight?\'02 Corvette Z06

It's not the pads either, I got them replaced, but still had the same problem. The mechanic told me I should go to the dealer, but I have to drop my car in the early morning, and they rip you off like a mo fo. My mechanic guess it might be the air bubble in the brake line, but still can't figure out why.
How's your suspension? I have bad springs and maybe it's due to uneven weigh ratio on each wheels?
I'm getting new springs... they're on the way.Sunny Cali, T-top is the way to go! \'96 V6 3.8.

I had the same problem. I was told by my mechanic that the abs modules are known to go bad after a while and a new one would run somewhere around 1000-1500. I just pulled the fuses to get rid of the annoying flashing of the abs inop and low trac lights, and besides I like my car better w/out ABS. Something else you could check is your tires. If they are bald and/or your rotors are warped, you might actually be sliding a tire when you come to those stop signs. Tires don't grip very well when they are cold.\'94 Camaro 3.4
\"No, Starvin Marvin. That\'s my pot pie.\"
