    Hey,
I'm slowly (cheaply) trying to upgrade my firebird. I'm working on the suspension right now and am slowly getting a WS6 suspension setup. I've already got WS6 springs and very soon will have the 32/19mm WS6 sway bars. I'm not sure what to do about the shocks though.
SLP has take off Z28/transam shocks for $75 but this isn't what the WS6 came with. Will these shocks ride and handle well with the other WS6 parts? Or do I need to get some other shocks? This car is my daily driver and I don't plan to be doing any autocrossing, but I would like it to handle better than it does and not be "bouncy".

    Thanks,

    David

I wouldn't mix suspension parts like that. Having stiff springs but softer shocks and such is asking for trouble. I'd just get all WS6 stuff off a junked car or used off ebay, they're pretty cheap. I drove a WS6 and it was very nice, it's what inspired me to get my upgraded suspension parts, of course I went above and beyond but that's just my style! You should be very happy with WS6 stuff though, it'll also be good if you ever get a V8, cuz you'll already have the support.
