SLP bolt on sfc 's

I'm about to put them on, is the installation straight forword or are there some things to look out for. I read somewhere that there is a small metal lip around one of the oval frame holes in front part of the rear lower control arm mounting bolt that needs to be ground off so the connecters fit properly.I have jack stands will they be ok for the installation.Thanks for any help/advise you can give me.

Use lock-tite when you bolt them up and only do one side at a time. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I hope you're using a lift (which lifts by the wheels) or two sets of ramps. I know with BMR weld ons you can't chassis lift the car, I am assuming these are the same.

I'm pretty sure you can put the front on ramps and the rear in the air by raising the axle and then placing the axle on jack stands.. this would put the weight of the car on the wheels and not the frame.. simulating it being on the ground.. just be careful when you disconnect the rear LCA's.. use your head and don't do anything half way.. you may want to set a pair of extra jack stands under the rear of the car so if something happens those jackstands can support the car.. that's just me though whenever I raise the car I always have a backup if it falls off of what is holding it up in the first place..

I have these (SLP bolt-on) and put them on in my garage... i lifted the front, then put the subframes into place, but didnt tighten, then after it was all hooked up, I put the car on the ground and got under there and tightened everything(i'm skinny ;) )

I did have to take off a heat shield on the drivers side, it can prolly be trimmed, but I didnt feel like it and the subframe covers the same spot as the shield. Everything went in straight and easy, maybe an hour max to install.
