i am thinking a strut tower brace. i have a 99 camaro hardtop with y87 preformance pkg. would i notice any difference? what about the a/c tubing on the left and the abs lines on the right? BMR or slp? the slp is shaped different, is that to clear the tubing and brake lines and auto trans dip stick? and what about these cracking windshields? THANKS FOR ANY INFO

I noticed a little diff. Mine is Bmr it fit ok, but I drive a 97 so I dont know if your lines are a little diff or not. I think I bent one line a little bit so it would fit a little better no biggie though. If you do get one just get which ever one is cheaper, cuz there going to be almost the exact same perf wize.

I've got a BRM on my car and I noticed a difference at once. I have aftermarket swaybars and lowering springs and it seemed to tighten things up alot.

I never heard of STB's cracking windshields, but I guess it's possible. I have the two point STB, and I noticed a BIG difference after it was installed, but on the other hand, my car has t-tops.
Every car could probably benefit some sort of suspension stiffening, hard top, t-top, or convertible.
One of the best upgrades I have done so far to the suspension was Sub-Frame Connectors. Felt like a totally new ride. A bit rougher than stock, but solid!

I think cracking the windshield was only a problem with the 3-point bars.

I noticed little/nothing with my bar.

I'm with Squirts, I really didn't notice anything. I actually took mine off last weekend to do plugs and wires, and the car seems just the same as when I had it on.

There is a difference. If you just drive regular, you won't feel it. But when you yank the wheel left and right, like an emergency lane change, you WILL feel the difference.

And about cracking the windshield, I only heard of 3-pts having probs. with that.
