I just ordered V8 springs from slp because they were really cheap. (50 bucks for the set of 4). I heard it's ok to put them in V6. Anyone have any idea?
i just got eighteens and was lookin to do the same. ive seen other people do it. the v8 springs are designed to hold more weight(obvious) but ride height should be about the same, you'll feel a little difference in ride quality. (not sure if itll be good or bad) if your runnin stock wheels, id say a little bumpier, but still nice. after the install can you post your results on the difference it made?
good luck

You might see a small increase in ride height in the front from these springs, as they were designed to hold up the weight of a V8. Other than that, since you have a '96, you should see a small difference in the ride front and rear, probably a little stiffer. 98+ use the same rear springs as the V8.
I have WS6 springs on the front of my car. They will ride a bit higher than the stock V6 springs. However, since I got my alignment redone, and got the camber all the way out (as close to 0 as possible, the front end sits a bit lower now. They're stiffer, they definately help with nose in, roll, etc., worth the change. As to the struts, you might as well change them if you put the new springs on, because the struts have to be taken off to get the springs off.
