I have kumho 712's 275/35/18 and a set of kumho ecsta MX's 275/40/18 waiting to go on. the 712's I like, any traction problems it might have had are virtually eliminated (it has lsd also) not that it's a powerhouse or anything, but it takes a lot of work to get the rear end loose now.

for the record, I work in a tire shop, and MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE is that 245/50/16's are cheaper than 235/55/16's, so you get a better tire with a larger contact patch for less money, and in the same overall diameter ( no speedometer offset problems or abs malfunctions) so it's a no brainer. go with the wider tire. a 245/50/16 will have a signifigantly larger contact patch, which will be equivical traction wise to a more expensive stickier 235/55/16 which would wear out faster than the afore mentioned 245/50/16.

by the way my car doesnt shut off, i can bury the needle in 3rd gear then switch to overdrive and keep accelerating. doesnt ya'lls car redline through every gear?? i mean i'm not bragging but my car did that before i did all that stuff< which really wasnt much. my car ran high nines in an 1/8 of a mine, i assume yours will do the same??

So what mods did the previous owner make to add 75 hp to the wheels?

Its funny, you dynoed 252 rwhp and run high 9's in the 1/8. I dynoed 184 rwhp with my camaro and ran 9.2's all day long in the 1/8. You are complete BS.

Do ya'll know where Holiday Beach is?? Its right below B'ham in AL. thats where I did it at, Go look at there records if you want. That was with a 1 sec delay and my ragged out tires not catching traction untill second gear. That was the whole point of me writing this to find better tires to catch traction when I race. Please don't call it BS if you've never seen it.
Thanks,

High 9s in the 1/8th? Yes, because your car is a normal 3.8 F-Body.

252 hp and 155 mph? No.

Do you have a picture of this dyno graph?

why are ya'll so worried about it?? SO your saying that with the mods i have it CAN NOT give me ANY horsepower AT ALL?!?! SO my car HAS to have 200 HP even WITH the mods that i have. i guess it makes sense, well, it REALLY DOESNT TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH. i would understand ya'll getting mad if i told you my car was all stock...... but its not.

You said you dynoed 252 hp....that's an 80-90 hp increase over stock. Then you say you run high 9s in the 1/8...that's not fast at all. That's a low 15 timeslip. 252rwhp is not going to run a low 15. Not to mention there's no way in hell you can dyno 252 with intake/exhaust. It just doesn't add up.

well from what i know which isnt much but a stock 3.8 is 200 Hp which anyone who knows cars realizes that it is at the flywheel and when you take it to a dyno all of them that i have been to gives you actual rwhp which is alot lower than flywheel hp so your 252hp would bo like 300-310 fhp which is pretty darn good for intake and exhaust i know i didnt get that much and a stock 3.8 with a supercharger is only pushing 252 rwhp on a dyno whic is what you are saying you did without NOS, TURBO, or SC i assume but i am from Wyoming so maybe i am just retarted
