  • LCA question

I'm about to order tubular control arms from BMR but I don't know whether to get the poly bushing or the rubber/poly bushings. Is the road noise that noticable? Also, do I have to get relocation brackets to eliminate wheel hop cuz I only have enough money for the control arms right now.

    A) If you're going to order BMR LCA's. Go through http://www.acaenterprises.com/catalog/ They will give you THE BEST prices you'll find anywhere.

    B) I would go with the Poly/Rubber combo. Supposedly it cuts down on binding.

    C) You don't need relocation brackets unless your car is lowered. Then they're a must to have the correct geometry of the LCA.

I would just get the control arms for now.. you should have that wheel hop anymore.. If you ever plan to lower your car, which looks awsome and handles like its on rails but sucks for scraping and no traction, then you will need those brackets too!! I installed my LCA's on Thursday with the poly poly bushings and it took care of all the wheel hop.. I didnt notcie any excess noise but I have poly bushings on the sway bars and PHR that it is already a loud and bumpy ride..
