I'm looking at some wheels on tirerack.com. They say that they will fit a corvette ZO6. They are SSR Comp-H rims. the fronts are 17x9.5 w/ +55 mm offset, the rears are 18x10.5 w/ +62 mm offset. I would put on 275-40-17 on front and 295-35-18's on the rear. My question is will these rim/tire combo's fit on my 2001 firebird at stock suspesion height without rubbing? if I lowered the rear, possibly as much as 2 inches, will the rears rub? I have an adjustable panhard rod, or the axle will be recentered if i lowered the rear at all, but would they still rub?

You will be fine with that offset either way you do it. You may have to roll the rear fenders a little if you drop it but thats it. Those sizes are almost the stock height anyway, 25.7 front and 26.1 rear.2005 Cavalier LS Sport M5
http://members.cardomain.com/firefighter8615

They will fit, but the 295's might rub a tad. With a BFH you can easily fix that issue, but I actually think considering the 62mm offset they wont rub at all. It will look great.
Don't lower it more than about an inch if you can help it though... Going 2" down is going to cause some major rubbing problems.2002 5-spd NBM Camaro
