• Quick note on torquing lugs

I know the topic just got closed, but Nikon, you should know. DONT DARE set your impact wrench that high. Anything above 125 or so and you risk stretching threads / breaking lugs / breaking studs. Not a fun thing at all. 100 all around, or possibly less for lightweight wheels. Even the racing folks with pit-stop guns have the pressure only to 100psi. If you just did everything at 235 pounds, I'd go invest in 20 wheel studs and 20 lug nuts.
This is why it's sooo important to use a torque wrench and hand torque everything when you have the time. Do I do it? ummm ... not always ... but I've busted studs and regretted it terribly.

Holy Crap! 235 ft-lbs? No WAY!
Over tightening your lugs is MUCH more dangerous than not tightening them enough.
Torque them every time too...

100 is the only way!

Yeah mag lugs or really soft aluminum wheels take less torque.
