I am going to install my Panhard that my girl got me for Valentines day. I was wondering if it matters how i do it, like does it matter if i put the car on jacks or on a lift or is it better if i just leave it on the ground? All i need to to is undo the bolts, take out the old one, slip in the new one, and redo the bolts right? No tricky business right?

It would be easier to do it with the axle off the ground. Jackstand the back up. that way if theres any movement, you can move the rear alot easier.
If its adjustable, you need to have it sitting on the tires with load on the rear.
But overall, no tricky buisness, very easy to do

Yeah mine is the non-adjustable 1LE, not like it comes in adjustable or anything. Cool, just making sure nothing silly happens.

Even if it's non-adjustable, you still need it sitting on the tires with load on the rear BEFORE you tighten the bolts down to spec.

          So:
          1) Jack up car (take weight off rear tires)
          2) Remove old panhard bar
          3) Install new (make sure you grease up). DO NOT tighten to specs just yet.
          4) Lower car and tighten to specs.

I backed my car onto Rhino Ramps and everything went fine - loaded rear end with plenty of room to work in.
